Keyboards, Vocals, Guitar, Percussion
Dan was introduced to the Beatles at a very young age when his older sisters watched them in on the “Ed Sullivan Show.” First there were toy drums and guitars, followed by keyboards. He joined his first rock band at fifteen, bought a used Farfisa keyboard from the local ICONIC Cleveland music store… DiFiore’s Music. After playing his first gig at a keg party, he was hooked for good. Eventually music was eclipsed by family and career. After a family hiatus Dan rejoined the music scene in 1998, playing with several local cover bands including Tumbling Dice, Velcro Jones, The New Century Beatniks and Eastwind, before joining Across the Universe.
“So excited to now be paying a musical tribute to John Lennon with the musicianship, stage presence, professionalism and humor of my band mates…at least they think they’re funny!” – Dan DeCarlo
